Ian Hazel Funerals, Sutton Coldfield

Established in 1987, Ian Hazel Funerals is an independent, family funeral firm serving the areas of Sutton Coldfield, Aldridge, Great Barr, Streetly, Kingstanding, Erdington, Lichfield and Walsall.

Owner, Ian Hazel is a fourth generation funeral director. He joined his family’s business, A. Hazel and Sons, in 1977 after obtaining commercial training in industry. Ian gained his National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) Diploma and qualified as a full member of the British Institute of Embalmers in 1979. When A. Hazel & Sons was acquired by Hodgson Holdings a decade later, Ian decided to open his own funeral home in Sutton Coldfield. Thanks to the support of local families, Ian Hazel Funerals has since expanded, with the opening of two additional offices in Aldridge and Great Barr.

Ian is joined by a team of professional funeral directors, including his daughter, Amy who obtained the NAFD Diploma in Funeral Directing in 2008. As a member of the NAFD, Ian Hazel Funerals adheres to a strict Code of Practice, ensuring each and every funeral is carried out to the highest standards.
