As one of the UK’s leading funeral plan providers, we work with over 800 funeral directing firms across the country, providing a safe home for funeral plan pre-payment funds. Some of the funeral directors we work with offer Perfect Choice Funeral Plans and others offer their own-branded funeral plans. Both options are provided and administered by Ecclesiastical Planning Services.
We are the preferred funeral plan provider of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) for independent firms. The NAFD is a recognised trade association which has been supporting funeral directing businesses since 1905. Its members now carry out over 80% of all funerals in the UK. Many of the funeral directors we work with are also members of The National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF). Members of both trade associations are required to comply with a strict Code of Practice. This means you can be sure that your funeral will be carried out to the highest possible standards when the time comes.
We are passionate about customer care. When taking out a plan with us, you can be sure to receive the highest quality help and advice, outstanding financial security and an exceptional level of support for your family at a time when they need it the most.
Ecclesiastical Planning Services is part of the Ecclesiastical Group; a UK-based financial services company which has been protecting people, property and funds since it was founded in 1887.
Operating in a strictly controlled environment, we hold all funeral plan funds in guaranteed whole of life assurance policies and only work with UK-based life assurance companies that are authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and regulated by the PRA and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Every penny of the full value of your funeral plan (excluding the initial management fee) is ring-fenced to pay for your funeral.
Our charitable owner gives available profits to good causes, making a positive difference to the communities in which we all live and work. Find out more by watching our short video.
We are registered with the Funeral Planning Authority (FPA); an organisation which exists to regulate funeral plan providers and protect consumers’ interests in the UK.
Registration with the FPA is not mandatory, and funeral plan providers are only accepted into membership if they can show that they operate to the highest standards demanded by their rules and Code of Practice. Providers are reviewed annually by the FPA's compliance committee.
