The Lincolnshire Cooperative Funeral Service - Lincolnshire

Lincolnshire Co-op is an independent retail co-operative founded in 1861 and owned by their 309,000 members in Lincolnshire and surrounding counties. They recycle their profits locally by sharing cashback with their members, investing in existing services as well as new ones, and supporting local causes through their Community Champions scheme.

They pride themselves on providing a first-class funeral service centred around care and professionalism. This is delivered through their network of 20 community funeral homes by their dedicated team who are trained to a very high standard.

Since July 2022, they have acted as an Appointed Representative for Ecclesiastical Planning Services in respect of the sale of funeral plans. This partnership enables them to provide peace of mind to customers.

Their set funeral plans provide a range of options and can be purchased by a single payment or over 12 months without additional cost, or for an additional cost, by instalments over a longer period.

They are a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors and work to its strict code of practice, providing assurance to their customers regarding the quality of service delivered. By investing in a Lincolnshire Co-op funeral plan, you’ll have peace of mind knowing that your plan will be administered when the time comes, everything will be taken care of by one of Lincolnshire’s leading funeral directors.

Choosing your funeral plan – important information

You can buy a plan for yourself or on behalf of someone else. The funeral plans offered are designed to cover the funeral director's own costs, as long as they carry out the funeral and the requirements don't change.

The plans below also guarantee to cover the cost of a local cremation and officiant’s fees. Your selected funeral director agrees to cover these third party costs (also known as disbursements) as long as they carry out the funeral.
