Dean Brothers (Formby) Ltd is an independent, family-run funeral directors, proud to serve the communities of Southport, Formby, Crosby and Liverpool.

The business was established almost 200 years ago in 1827 and is now in its 7th generation. Today, the business is managed by siblings Iain, Sharon and Samantha; qualified funeral directors with over 25 years of experience. They are supported by a team of professional staff and together they strive to deliver the very highest standards of funeral care.

From its purpose-built funeral home on Gores Lane, the family team provides a comprehensive range of funeral services, including pre-paid funeral plans for those who wish to plan ahead.

Dean Brothers is a member of both of the industry’s recognised trade associations, The National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF) and the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD). As such, the business adheres to a strict Code of Practice. This ensures each and every funeral service is carried out to the highest professional standards, for your peace of mind.

Choosing your funeral plan – important information

You can buy a plan for you or for someone else. The funeral plans offered below are designed to cover the funeral director's own costs. As long as they carry out the funeral and the requirements don't change, neither you nor your family will be asked to pay more for these costs, regardless of when the plan is needed or what happens to costs in the meantime. The plans below also include a contribution towards third party costs, which are based on today's cost of a funeral. These costs, however, are not guaranteed.
