Funeral Prepayment Plans from
Funeral Planning Services
Many people wish to provide for their funeral expenses, and a prepaid funeral plan is a caring, sensible and cost-effective way to do so.
The advantage of a funeral plan over a savings account or life insurance policy is that you can pay now, at today's price, and beat inflation - no matter when the service might be required.
The funeral director's fees will be paid by Funeral Planning Trust at the time of the funeral.
Funeral prepayment plans are provided by Funeral Planning Services Limited in association with a network of independent funeral directors throughout the UK.
All funeral prepayments are held in Funeral Planning Trust until required and fully comply with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
The Funeral Planning Trust
Funeral Planning Trust was established in 1995 by Funeral Planning Services Limited to hold and invest funeral payments received by the company for the funding of funeral services. The funds are held by the trust until such time as they are required to pay for funerals.
The fund is managed by independent trustees, actuaries and professional investment managers. Its total net assets at 31st March 2012 were in excess of £93.5 million.
The total number of plans purchased since Funeral Planning Trust was founded now exceeds 52,000 and over 17,900 funerals have been paid for by the trust over 16 years.
