The simplest and cheapest way is to pay for your plan within three months at the "single payment" prices shown below. Alternatively you can pay by monthly instalments, but please note that it costs more to pay for a plan this way because of the extra administration involved and the difference between funeral costs now and when you finish paying for your plan. The Cruse Bereavement Care Funeral Plan is not a credit arrangement but a facility to pay for a funeral in advance.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The above prices include the funeral director's charges for the services specified and £135 to cover the administration costs of the plan.

If you are paying for your plan in a single payment (or a deposit followed by the full payment within three months) you also have the option to include a contribution towards other funeral expenses, known as disbursements. For a cremation service we recommend a contribution of £800, based on current average costs, but you can include more, or less, or no contribution at all if you prefer. If you would like advice on this point please call the Funeral Planning Services help-line on 0800 41 30 46. if you are paying by instalments you will have the option to add a contribution to disbursements at a later stage.

You can cancel your plan at any time and receive a refund of all your payments except for the administration costs as noted above, or a full refund if you return your documents within 28 days. For further information please refer to the Terms of Sale
